Emily Monroe

Owner

Born and raised in Wisconsin, Emily has always had a passion for animals.  From 4H to volunteering at local animal shelters, you could always find Emily with an animal by her side.  After Highschool, Emily moved to Missoula, Montana where she was a General Manager at a local dog daycare for nearly 10 years.  She also worked at an animal shelter in Texas. Ultimately, Emily moved to Port Washington to fulfill her dream of opening her own pet supply store and helping pets become happier and healthier. 

She now resides in Port Washington with her 2 dogs and 2 cats.

If you have a dog or cat and you want the best for your pet, this is the place to go! Emily also runs donation drives for the local humane society. She is the type of person that gives back to her community.

Despite being a small boutique shop, One Wag has everything your pet needs and the pricing is lower than competitors! Emily is extremely knowledgeable and is personally invested in your pet. During covid, she personally delivered food to our front door. When our dog passed away this year, she sent us a personalized brick from Etsy with our dogs name on it. SUPPORT LOCAL BUSINESSES!

They have a great selection of natural foods. I have 3 cats, one of which can't gain weight. I am trying Dave's Natural canned food and so far she loves it and hasn't thrown up after eating it. They are very helpful in looking up information if you ask questions also. Prices are better than some bigger pet stores too!
